Uwharrie Chair products are produced from pressure treated southern yellow pine, and hold up extremely well to the elements.  As the your Uwharrie product ages naturally the character will be enhanced.  You should expect to see some loss of paint and surface cracking as time passes, but the wood & hardware in these products will remain structurally sound for many years to come.  Uwharrie warrants their products for life against termites and decay when used in normal environmental conditions.  The consumer is entitled to receive replacement parts for any such situation.  Uwharrie products are available in a wealth of finish choices, or you may order it in natural and paint it yourself.
